Since 2004, over 157,760 young people have benefited from Challenge Team UK’s eye-opening information and positive and self-affirming message.
The registered educational charity visits faith schools, private schools and state schools with an entertaining, interactive hour-long presentation which covers topics such as building strong relationships, STIs, peer pressure, self-image, sexting and pornography and marriage. The presentation is delivered by trained young adults who have themselves decided to save sex for marriage.
The presentation assumes knowledge of contraception and reproduction and is suitable for pupils in years 9 and above from all family backgrounds. The content is consistent with the Christian faith, but without religious references.
A reasonable charge of £200 is made for a visit to a school. Youth clubs or evening groups are charged on a donation basis while the team is in the area. Many schools book Challenge Team UK every year. A DVD of the presentation is available for £25 for family, group or school use. For schools, a DVD with supporting materials is available for £50.
