Alive to the World is a programme of character and relationships education created out of storytelling. The children in the books live through the emotions and dilemmas that any child faces at a particular age. This gives the raw material for lively class discussion which is further guided by full lesson plans and suggested activities. The programme is not religious but accords easily with the values that faith schools promote, including the importance of marriage and family life, friendship, and relationships in the classroom and wider community.
